June 29, 2018, The 2018 Graduate Symposium of SPS was held in the conference room B416 in Medical Science Building. Dean Sheng Ding, Associate Dean Feng Qian, and some faculties and students of SPS attended the symposium. The symposium was presided over by Qingfei Liu, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
 
In the relaxed atmosphere, the representatives of graduates summarized their study and life experiences in SPS of Tsinghua University, expressed their gratitude for the faculties and students. Graduates also report their future plans and puts forward their own opinions and suggestions about SPS, including optimization of undergraduates cultivation project,  further open advanced technology platform, strengthen the communication between the undergraduate and postgraduate students, and establish doctoral degree, etc.
 
The total number of graduates is 28, of which 11 are undergraduates and 17 are postgraduates. Among the graduates, 90% of the students chose the top universities or institutes at home and abroad to continue their studies, including Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University, North Carolina State University, Chapel Hill, New York State University - Buffalo, the Scripps Research Institute, Tsinghua University and the Peking University. About 30% of graduates choose to go abroad or engage in postdoctoral research in China, and 70% choose to serve in universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions.
