Neil Shen is the founding managing partner of Sequoia China, where he has been ranked as one of the country's top venture capital investors for much of the past decade.

A co-founder of travel site Ctrip and Home Inn, Shen had previously worked at Deutsche Bank Hong Kong, Chemical Bank, Lehman Brothers and Citibank in various investment banking areas.

Shen is also Chairman of the Yale China Center Council, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HONGKONG X, Vice Chairman of the Venture Capital Specialized Committee of Asset Management Association of China, Founding Director of the Future Forum, and Board Director of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Shen holds a master's degree in management from Yale University and an undergraduate degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
