I. Purpose: Exchange scientific research ideas and spark academic wisdom

To further enhance the academic research atmosphere of postgraduate students in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, reinforce exchanges and communication among laboratories, cultivate students’ academic communication skills and comprehensive qualities, and demonstrate the professional demeanor of doctoral research training, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been active in holding a series of doctoral academic exchange activities.


II. Review of activities for the second half of the academic year 2022-2023

In Session 1 held on September 7, 2022, Dr. Tong Yan (2017, Supervisor: Rao Yu) and Dr. Hua Rui (2018, Supervisor: Wang Zhao) delivered speeches entitled “Application of PROTAC Small Molecules in Virus Research” and “Improvement of Liver Senescence Phenotype by Removing DPP4 Positive Cells in Liver” respectively.

In Session 2 held on September 21, 2022, Dr. Ma Xianqiang (2017, Supervisor: Zhang Yonghui) and Dr. Song Yugang (2017, Supervisor: Rao Yu) delivered speeches entitled “Discovery of Efficient and Stable Structure-based Vg9Vd2 T Cell Agonists and Their Mechanism of Action” and “Synthesis of Quaternary Carbon-Centered Benzoindolizidinones via Novel Photoredox-Catalyzed Alkene Aminoarylation” respectively.

  

In Session 3 held on October 12, 2022, Dr. Wu Yue (2018, Supervisor: Rao Yu) and Dr. Wang Luyao (2018, Supervisor: Du Juanjuan) delivered speeches entitled “Development of PROTAC targeting FAK and CDK9” and “Construction of a Screening Platform for Protein Nanocapsule Library of Targeted Organ Delivery” respectively.

 

In Session 4 held in the afternoon of October 26, 2022, Associate Researcher Zhang Xinrui, Senior Technology Transfer Supervisor at the Office of Technology Transfer, was invited as the keynote speaker to deliver a speech entitled “Global Intellectual Property Layout in the Field of Medicine and Health”.
