In order for undergraduate students to receive positive scientific research guidance before formally entering scientific research training, the school established the “Pharmacy Undergraduate Forum” in 2019, sponsored by the Undergraduate Teaching Committee and undertaken by each undergraduate class. In each session, 1-2 PIs of the school would be invited to introduce research directions in the form of popular science lectures, share the latest scientific research progress, and communicate extensively with students. The “Pharmacy Undergraduate Forum” is designed to help undergraduate students build up their interest in scientific research, keep abreast of the academic frontier, foster innovative thinking and consciousness, and make better planning for their academic career. Meanwhile, in the undergraduate talent training program for pharmacy, it also serves as a good complement to scientific research practice & training courses to create correct scientific research value orientation for students, and enable them to connect theoretical knowledge more effectively with the latest trends of scientific research, so as to support their subsequent relevant scientific research training with higher quality.
